Choose a Start Month

The Stabilizer is a budgeting system designed to help you save the money to pay all your bills without ever being caught short of funds.  If you start your budget just before the month with the largest bills you won't have the funds accumulated to pay the bills.  To choose what month to start your budget go to the "Year Totals" card and click on the "Set Month" button.  You will have a choice to choose the month yourself or to have the Mac choose the best month.  The Mac will choose a "Start Month" that will keep your budget from being short of funds in any month.

If you want to start using your budget in a month that is not good to have as the "Start Month" then you can use the information in the
"End Bal." column to determine the funds you would need to have to begin using the budget without having to wait until the "Start Month".
